Job Details
Title - Data Modeler
2 days onsite in a week - Wisconsin
Required exp. - 12 year experience.
Minimum 12 plus years of experience in data Analysis and data Manipulation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy database models for application development to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
- Perform data analysis and data modeling for operational applications and analytical databases.
- Be responsible for data classification, naming, design of the database, and the creation of DDL.
- Provide technical consulting for application teams for data naming, classification, design and handling as a part of the first line of defense for data controls in designing systems.
- Suggest and implement improvements in architecture, team processes and functions.
- Meet with client as required to provide delivery expertise and drive results.
- Take accountability to complete work on time and raise blockers and issues to ensure timelines are met.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed with a high satisfaction and build client and Trianz peer relationships to build trust and confidence.
- Based on past and current client execution, work with peers to lead in the development of point of views, new solutions, accelerators that will assist in driving results
- Using your experience, provide leadership and guidance as needed with building out innovative solutions that will accelerate implementation and time to market for our clients.
Required Sills
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in IT, Data Analysis, Data Manipulation, or related work.
- Hands on experience with Erwin
- Experience with databases and SQL.
- Experience with dimensional modeling.
- Understanding of data modeling best practices
- Full lifecycle experience in waterfall and agile development methodologies
- Intelligent but practical; you want to get things done and love simplicity.
